Consultation

At this first meeting, the client will introduce themselves and their landscape to the designer and talk about general wants, needs, and limitations. The cost of the initial visit is $75 per hour. At the end of the consultation, a starting point will have been decided on. The result may be a few verbal suggestions or the decision to proceed with a design.

Design

The design process always begins with an initial consultation with a landscape architect or designer. At SolTerra Landscape we strive to tailor your landscape design to reflect your personal tastes as well as your preferences regarding the affordability and manageability of the landscape. The designer gathers impressions from the consultation meeting and begins designing a new landscape. Two proposals are involved: A design proposal with the price to create the landscape design, and an installation proposal with the price to install the landscape.

In the design, plants are selected for characteristics such as year-round interest, diverse color palette selection, foliage textures, plant size, consideration of architectural elements, maintenance needs and your preferences. The design is drawn and quantities of plants are determined.

We'll meet with you for the design presentation. If revisions are discussed, drawings, plant lists, timelines and estimates will be modified, and presented again.

Once the design process is finished, details are finalized and a price is agreed upon, the installation process can begin.

Installation

Our installation team is thorough, professional, and efficient, always striving to be pleasant and create the least intrusive work area to make our clients feel as comfortable as possible during the installation phase.

SolTerra Landscape's installation crews are courteous and pride themselves on their knowledge and experience. Knowing that the best possible plant specimens have been selected as well as consideration of weather elements, drainage and sun exposure, SolTerra's installation crew knows the importance of doing the job correctly to help make your project a success!

If necessary, other contractors may be brought in to do pieces of your project depending of your project design. Our field managers will oversee all aspects of the installation.

Maintenance

To compliment our installation service and ensure that a landscape is nurtured and developed to its greatest potential, we offer an ongoing maintenance service. This is not a traditional "mow and blow" service common to our industry, but rather a discriminating landscape service with an eye for detail that will keep your property in peak performance, knowing that the strength of any good landscape is seasonal change, adapting to those changes and proper pruning. Contact us for a free service estimate, which can begin immediately upon a service agreement acceptance.
